A walk & talk about time, moving forward and trees
The wonderful Tash from Earthruns took us with her and her dogs on her morning walk to answer a few questions about being outdoors and how to get into running with purpose and for a good cause.
Tash created Earth Runs with the vision to produce sustainable medals and that everybody can make a difference by completing a run or race and can turn miles into trees.
Beginning this year she won the Brooks Run Fund with her mission to to harness the energy of people. Well deserved.
During our walk and talk we asked 10 different questions and I loved her answer to the question for her spirit animal. She has good suggestions for everyone that is new to running as well.
Personally I have done 5km and 10km challenges with her and in October she created the 26miles in 1 month challenge as a support for COP26.
She is an absolute inspiration and I hope you get some encouragement from this walk & talk.
And to say it in Tash’s words: “None of us move backwards, we all do it differently and with our own motivations. Some of us need a challenge, something to work towards that drives us out on the winter mornings or the dark nights. Others run for space and clarity, and some pound the streets to lose the pounds. Whatever your reason, it’s the right one.”
Thank you Tash for spending time with us.
